• During the mega BLT project for PTCL in 1992-93:

Regional offices were established in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

Several sub-offices were set up across other cities.

218,000 telephone lines were installed for PTCL, marking a groundbreaking achievement at the time.
• The successful completion of the BLT project:

Approximately 700,000 PTCL telephone lines have been successfully installed by Telecom Foundation, cementing its leadership in telephone line deployment in Pakistan.

The project spans over 6,000 kilometers, emphasizing Telecom Foundation's role in developing Pakistan's digital infrastructure on a national scale.

In 2021, Telecom Foundation signed a framework agreement with PTCL to deploy 1.4 million FTTH (fibre to the home) lines, marking it the largest project in the Foundation’s history.

This deployment covers nearly 80% of the areas across the country.
