Telecom Foundation Advances Towards ISO Certification
Under the visionary leadership of the President & CEO, Telecom Foundation is adding another layer of organizational excellence by working towards ISO Certifications, thereby reaffirming its strategic commitment to world class quality, safety, and operational standards.
In this regard, the HR Department, under the strategic leadership of Ms. Atifa Ahsan (Head of HR, Admin & Social Welfare), organized an Awareness Session on ISO Standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).
Mr. Muhammad Abuzar (A/SM Development) played a key role in coordinating with the facilitator and supporting the successful execution of the session.
The session was conducted by Mr. Shahid Hussain, CEO – Quality Control Services (QCS), a Lead Auditor and Technical Expert accredited for these international standards. It was attended by all department heads and staff at the Headquarters, while regional heads participated virtually.
The session provided valuable insights into internationally recognized ISO standards, covering certification processes, implementation methodologies, documentation requirements, and compliance frameworks.
This initiative marks an important step in Telecom Foundation’s journey towards organizational excellence, strengthening institutional capacity, standardizing processes, minimizing operational risks, and fostering a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
